But did you know that 9 out of 10 people don’t breathe “correctly”? 


Most of us are breathing in a way that facilitates stress and activates the body’s fight or flight response, rather than the calming rest and digest state of being.


When done correctly, deep breathing has the power to cause hormonal changes in the body, reducing the hormones associated with stress and anxiety, and calms the brain system responsible for negative thinking.


Not only is this technique useful in situations where you feel stressed or anxious -- but it can also help you to fall asleep more easily, to regain focus, or to relax and enjoy whatever you’re doing.
